Every review on RatedLandlords is written by an individual tenant, in their own words, based on their own experience. Reviews represent the opinions of their authors alone — they are not verified, adopted, or endorsed by RatedLandlords, and do not represent our views.

RatedLandlords provides a platform for tenants to publish reviews. Like other user-review and social platforms, we host third-party content — we do not write, commission, fact-check, or edit the substance of what contributors post. Reviews appear on the site as submitted, subject only to our moderation guidelines in the Terms of Use.

Because we act as a host rather than the author of user content, legal responsibility for a review’s accuracy, and for any claim arising from it, rests with the contributor who wrote it — not with RatedLandlords.

By submitting a review, a contributor confirms it reflects their own genuine experience and takes full responsibility for its content, including any legal liability arising from it — for example, if a review is found to be false, defamatory, or otherwise unlawful. See our Terms of Use for the full contributor agreement, including the indemnity contributors give us against claims arising from their content.

We moderate submissions to keep them genuine and on-topic, but we can’t independently verify every claim made in a review. Please exercise your own judgement and carry out your own research before making a decision based on anything you read here.

We are not liable for decisions made, or losses incurred, as a result of relying on content published on this site.

Where a review gives rise to a legal claim against RatedLandlords, we reserve the right to pass on the details of the contributor responsible and to seek to recover our costs from them, in line with the indemnity given under our Terms of Use.
