By accessing or using RatedLandlords, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the site.
Reviews should reflect your own genuine, first-hand experience of a tenancy. You shouldn’t submit a review for a property you haven’t personally lived in, or on behalf of someone else without their agreement.
You’re responsible for the accuracy of what you post. Reviews must be honest, based on real experience, and free of defamatory, abusive, or knowingly false statements. We may lightly edit submissions for formatting, but we won’t change the substance of your review.
RatedLandlords hosts reviews written by our users; we do not author, verify, or endorse them. In this respect we act as a host of user-generated content, in the same way as other review and social platforms — not as the publisher of any individual review. Legal responsibility for a review’s content and accuracy rests with the contributor who submitted it.
We reserve the right to moderate, verify, or remove content that appears fraudulent, defamatory, or in breach of these terms. Landlords and agents can flag a review they believe is inaccurate, and we’ll review it accordingly.
If you submit a review, you agree to indemnify and hold RatedLandlords harmless against any claims, losses, damages, or costs (including reasonable legal fees) arising from that content — including any claim that it is inaccurate, defamatory, or otherwise unlawful. This indemnity survives even if you later delete your review or stop using the site.
Reviews and ratings reflect the opinions of individual users and are not verified or endorsed by RatedLandlords. The site is provided on an "as is" basis and, to the fullest extent permitted by law, we exclude all liability for loss or damage arising from user-submitted content.
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the site after changes take effect means you accept the updated terms.
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
